It is no mystery that in the last couple of years the Real Estate as well as other factors in the economy have had to step up to the plate in order to foster correction. The adjustment. A new playing field.

The same holds true with the brokers, salespeople, mortgage brokers, insurance companies, and more.

I have seen some of the best go, and it broke my heart. I have seen some that should go, go. I admire the tenacity that some people can endure, and the amazing amount of hope and desire, as well as conviction, we can maintain. This is a business that often has smoking guns and magic mirrors involved. There truly has never been such a thing as a crystal ball, although if there was a web site for one for Realtors I am confident most of us would have sent off for one, and gazed upon it occasionally from our desk top. Honesty and Integrity will always be a supreme virtue.

I welcome the emergence a new market brings, and with the corrections, improvements, and the drawing of a new playing field. Some people were destined to go, and some of us, well, we rode the storm out, and it will not be too long until gentle breezes once again touch our business. I see it starting already. I tell you. Won’t it be wonderful that we can comment on our great successes, and know that we are going through a truly historical time that will not be forgotten for some time?  The amount of smiles that have been saved up will illuminate our entire Industry for a long time to come!! There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and it is coming at us fast!
